Creativity Is Weird

Just try your best, try everything you can...
If there's one thing I've learned about myself, it's that creativity doesn't show up on a schedule.
Sometimes I'll go weeks—or even months—without feeling inspired to make much of anything. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a switch flips. Suddenly I'm redesigning my website, making graphics until midnight, brainstorming new ideas, and wondering why I ever stopped creating in the first place.
The funny thing is, I know it won't last forever.
Creativity has always ebbed and flowed for me. I've stopped fighting it. Instead, I've learned to enjoy the seasons when inspiration decides to show up. When it does, I try to make the most of it before it wanders off again.
Lately, that creative spark has me thinking about making videos again. And not just the occasional shorts starring Tucker and Leo (don't worry—they're keeping their jobs being cute AF on TikTok), but actual videos.
I don't know exactly what they'll look like yet. Maybe they'll be nostalgic dives into growing up as a millennial, maybe they'll be stories, maybe they'll just be me rambling about things that live rent-free in my head. Sometimes putting an idea into the world is the first step toward actually doing it.
So if you've noticed a flurry of updates around here lately... now you know why.
I'm just riding the wave while it's here. Who knows what I'll create next?
...it doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else
